LET'S COLLABORATE

Proud to Partner

Real change and impact happens best when we work together in coalition.  Child & Family Resources is proud to be a key partner in AZECA’s important work of advancing Early Childhood Education in Arizona.  We strongly support speaking with one collective policy and advocacy voice to legislators and funders, and know that there is greater efficiency and synergistic effectiveness through the power of numbers and clear coordination and communication

Childhood Champions

One of the benefits of joining Arizona Early Childhood Alliance is planning and coordinating the annual early childhood day at the state capitol. In this event, we work collaboratively to create meaningful opportunities for early childhood educators, parents, and community members to connect with elected officials and elevate their voices for equitable public investments for Arizona’s youngest learners. Together, we work to build a well-informed, activated, grassroots network of early childhood champions that participate in advocacy and advance vibrant, thriving communities.

Making a Difference For Arizona’s Children

I’ve learned so much being a part of AZECA – it has helped me understand the landscape, gain policy insights, and know that I’ve made a difference for kids and families through my participation in AZECA activities. It’s more than just “Early Childhood Day at the Capitol” (which is a great event!) but also behind the scenes throughout the year!

Advocacy

Being an active member of AZECA allows the Early Childhood voice to be powerful as one when advocating with the governor’s office and the legislature.

Why AZECA?

What I appreciate most about belonging to AZECA is the voice it gives to the early childhood workforce, especially those working in rural and underserved communities. AZECA is mindful of the diverse voices in the field and works hard to raise the needs of all early childhood professionals, not just for those who live in large communities.

AZECA Membership

Being a member of AZECA allows us to help our staff and the families that we serve to get their voices heard with policy makers. Events like Early Childhood Day at the Capitol and Strolling Thunder are effective and engaging ways to give the people most impacted by early childhood policies the skills they need to speak up for themselves.
